JOB SUMMARY: Manage accounting function and direct reports, providing information, primarily financial in nature, about all company activities that will assist management and other users in making educated economic decisions.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the activities of the Corporate Accounting Department for the accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports including, but not limited to, internal and external monthly financial statements, annual audits and tax requirements.
Establish and maintain systems and controls which verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data, and enhance the Company's value. Including the ongoing review of account reconciliation processes and management of the overall assurance that all accounts are in order and all accounts are being appropriately reviewed to ensure financial reporting compliance.
Respond to Controller as assigned with accurate and timely work to facilitate financial needs.
Participate in a wide variety of special projects and compile a variety of special reports.
Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.
Responsible for management and ensure favorable partnership with accounting staff.
Responsible for integrating the Accounting functions of acquired companies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA certification preferred, but not required
3-5 years of hands-on accounting managerial experience
Strong general ledger management skills
Exceptional communication skills
Advanced knowledge of Excel, problem solving and analytical skills required
Strong managerial abilities
