Salesforce Manager Job Opening in Baltimore, Maryland - Humilis Consulting are currently supporting an instantaneously recognisable company who are heavily involved in the Manufacturing, Technology and Healthcare industries. With a value of nearly $15billion and plans to break the $20b mark by 2020, this company are sitting at the top table of their industry.
With over 9000 Salesforce users, across 12 separate Salesforce orgs, the platform is an integral part of their business operations. They have the following products integrated in their environment; Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Salesforce CPQ, Communities Cloud and Wave Analytics.
Given that Salesforce is such a business critical application, they have a dedicated team of circa 40 professionals managing the product globally. These teams are based throughout the US, UK and mainland Europe.
Due to a significant restructure and increased investment into the team. This company are looking to hire a Salesforce Manager who will oversee all Salesforce applications, processes, projects, architecture for the Americas Region. This will also include managing a team of salesforce professionals in the US.
The Salesforce Manager will report directly to board level, and work as a ?number 2? to the global Head of CRM.
Key responsibilities
Managerial responsibilities including; budget creation, resource management, relationship management of external partners and vendors
Mentor and manage progress of the Americas team
Oversee all projects and programmes that involve the Salesforce environment, or interact with the environment and the Americas users
Work with senior stakeholders at director level, to understand on-going business developments and how Salesforce can contribute to this
Lead steering committee meetings
Oversee the Salesforce development and architecture teams in the Americas region to ensure a the platform is fit for purpose and continually involving
Work with external vendors to understand new products and where these can be deployed to improve business/user performance and interaction
Required experience and skills
7+ years? experience within the IT sector, focusing around service delivery, project/programme management and stakeholder management
3+ years? experience as a manager, with direct line reports
5+ years experience
Excellent communication skills
Salesforce certifications
Experience working within a global company, with often complex processes and business requirements
