Tax Associate/Senior Associate Job Opening in Tacoma, Washington - We are seeking an experienced tax preparer for our boutique public accounting firm located downtown Tacoma. Our firm specializes in working with small to mid-size business owners and high net worth individuals. We provide our clients with expert level tax compliance, planning, and general consulting with a personal level of service. We are a paperless office and utilize the latest technologies to create an efficient service for our clients.
This is a full-time position and candidates will be expected to deliver a completed product to partners for review. Our practice is expanding quickly and the ideal candidate will be able to grow with the firm into a management level position. The ideal candidate will have the following experience and skill set:
At least 2 tax seasons of experience.
Ability to complete Corporate, Partnership, and S Corporation filings.
Manage the impact of entity level tax returns on the individual owner?s personal filings.
Analyze client financials for year-end adjustments and corrections.
Strong knowledge of payroll filings including federal and state filing obligations.
Ability to research tax law and find solutions to client?s concerns.
Possession of a valid PTIN or PTIN eligible.
EA or CPA certification preferred, will consider EA or CPA eligible candidates.

Significant bonus opportunity based off realized billable hours exceeding 1200 per annum.
