Central States Insulation Wholesale, Inc. ?CSI? a leading distributor to the insulation contractor market, is seeking a high energy, self-motivated Sales Representative with a record of achieving sales growth and relationship building skills. As a Sales Representative for CSI, you will be responsible for expanding our customer base; building and maintaining rapport with key customers, actively participating in community, business and industry organizations to build a network of contacts that improve the presence and reputation of the company in the local area. Other duties include maintaining proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies and increasing personal knowledge and expertise in business and sales.
Sales Representative Job Requirements
As a Sales Representative for Central States Insulation Wholesale, Inc. you must have the ability to work independently and as a part of a team and have a professional, customer-focused attitude. This individual must be able to work a flexible schedule and requires significant travel and will require overnight travel and weekend and/or evening work.
Additional Job Requirements
Develop and maintain sales materials
Keep current on product knowledge, local building codes and product developments.
Follow up on leads and referrals
Maintain a weekly call log
Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to sales manager
Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts
Participate in marketing events such as seminars and trade shows
Assist in coordinating in shipping schedules and delivery of product.
Mange time effectively, meet personal goals and work effectively with other members of the organization.
Follow company procedures and policies
Present a professional image at all times to customers and vendors
Perform other duties assigned
Knowledge and skill requirements
Basic reading, writing and math skills are required.
Ability to persuade and influence others.
Ability to develop and deliver presentations.
Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Maintain a professional appearance and provide a positive company image to the public.
Work requires significant travel which requires the possession of a valid driver?s license.
