Programmer/Application Developer Job Opening in Pomona, New jersey - Job Summary
Work at the FAA Technical Center (Pomona, NJ) to develop software and database applications to evaluate air traffic control systems, organizations, and processes for compliance with FAA safety standards. Collaborate with systems engineering team to review software requirements and designs for website user interface, data reporting utilities, and algorithms to analyze safety metrics. Develop prototype software and website and work with team to test prototype features and functions.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in CSS/HTML and Java or JavaScript required.
Experience with MySQL or SQL database platforms and stored procedures desired.
Familiarity with jQuery and Hibernate or JPA a plus.
BS in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Math, Science, or similar desired, or high school diploma/GED and 10+ years of software development experience.
