Director of Sales Job Opening in Fayetteville, Arkansas - The Director of Sales will be responsible for directly managing the Digital and Print sales floor personnel including the enforcement of company policies to ensure that all sales activities exceed quality and productivity expectations set by the company and legal regulations set by governing bodies.
MUST HAVE 2 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN MANAGING AN OUTBOUND CALL CENTER OF 15+ PEOPLE TO APPLY FOR THIS POSITION.
SALES MANAGEMENT
· With the VP of Sales, responsible for establishing and achieving sales that coincide with the overall company goals
· Coordinates with Finance to ensure time and attendance and compensation are processed accurately
· Responsible for the management of sales floor managers and all sales floor personnel
· Responsible for using reports and analytics to ensure sales labor is allocated efficiently over all the available sales inventory
· Responsible for creating a positive, motivating sales environment.
SALES PERSONNEL RECRUITING & TRAINING
· Responsible for the adequate staffing of the Sales Floor, both digital and print (hiring and firing personnel)
· Responsible for overseeing the training and development of new sales people and the creation and maintaining of high quality training materials and techniques
· Evaluates and initiates the retraining of staff who fall below company expectations
DIGITAL SALES
· Responsible for developing and refining efficient sales practices for all digital products.
· Analyze, identify, and implement best of practice pricing and sales procedures for digital products.
Work Experience Requirements:
Required: 1) Enthusiastic, positive attitude; 2) Exceptional communication skills, both interpersonal and written; 3) Ability to handle presentations to individuals or medium to large groups both in terms of personal appearance and presentation ability; 4) Ability to problem solve and react quickly to changing needs; 5) Ability to resolve conflict and conduct regular performance appraisals; and 6) Develop and hold accountable team members in their ability to sell and collect over the phone.
· Minimum of 2 years phone Sales Management experience.
· Ability to establish, track and achieve Sales goals.
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word or equivalent.
· Sales and Financial Analytical Skills required.
· Digital sales experience a substantial plus.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing; Advertising; Business; or equivalent work experience in marketing; advertising; business or related field required with proven ability to manage a sales staff and produce results.
