Payroll Accountant Job Opening in Eden Prairie, Minnesota - On a day to day basis this candidate will do full Payroll functions in Ulti-pro as well as payroll accounting.
Payroll Responsibilities include:
reconcile the payroll
audit the time cards
wage garnishments
taxes
shift Differentials
executive stock comp
processing of all non-inventory invoices, expense reports and payments, W9 management, year-end 1099 preparation and reporting
resolution of escalated invoice/payment issues through written and verbal communication with vendors
AP Responsibilities include:
process about 75 invoices a day
use Onbase to scan and upload the invoices.
work with excel spread sheets and reconcile data
posting to the books and doing month end
Qualifications:
2 year associates degree in accounting or equivalent experience
2 years working in an large ERP system (oracle, JD Edwards, Sage, SAP, Lawson)
2 years of Payroll duties - 1099?s, payroll taxes, multi-state and above 500 employees
Experience with Ultimate Ulti-pro highly preferred
2 years of Transactional Accounts Payable preferred
1 year of Payroll Accounting (reconciling in GL) preferred
