Tax Accountant Job Opening in Morris, Minnesota - DESCRIPTION : Riverview, LLP is an agribusiness based in Morris, Minnesota with farms in Arizona, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Mexico and South Dakota. We are involved in beef, crops, construction and dairy and are currently looking for a full-time Tax Accountant. The role of the Tax Accountant is to advise and support the business in the areas of tax and entity compliance.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Project current year and future business tax liability
Maintaining basis records for Riverview and its partners
Researching new tax incentives
Responding to inquiries from IRS
Assist payroll team with tax questions and filings
Prepare tax returns for Riverview?s visa employees
REQUIREMENTS :
Passionate about tax
Minimum 4 years of tax accounting experience and post-secondary education
Understands tax accounting for partnerships and individuals
Willing to learn Spanish
Organized: Plans, organizes and prioritizes in an efficient manner
Flexible: Adjusts quickly to change
High standards for personal and team performance
