Position Summary
Meditech Analyst
Demonstrates knowledge of and support hospital mission, vision, value statements, standards, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards, and the code of ethical behavior. Provides daily operational support, troubleshoots, develops, maintains and trains end users on the MEDITECH's financial applications which includes; B/AR, GL, AP, MM. The Financial Applications Analyst participates in internal and external group meetings and maintains a high level of interaction with hospital staff, administration, patients, vendors and users of the financial application system to continually enhance and improve user experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Troubleshoot, analyze, develop, and maintain MEDITECH's financial applications, procedures and other systems that satisfy the needs of the user departments.
Analyze and develop necessary design work, including testing and documentation. Review, evaluate and implement requests from user departments.
Analyze problems, determine cause and initiate corrective action.
Develop clear and concise documentation and instruction manuals.
Provide in-service and other forms of continuing education of software to users.
Share on-call duties with other analysts within Information Systems department.
Coordinate and participate in both internal and external user group meetings.
Perform other related duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree is required
Two years of experience in MEDITECH client server Billing/Account Receivable (B/AR), GL, AP, MM required
Experienced with MEDITECH client server platform required
Must be able to communicate effectively, coordinate multiple duties simultaneously, and be able to independently solve financial applications related issues.
