Field Service Engineer II (full-time) Job Opening in minneapolis, Minnesota - Field Service Engineer II (full-time) Field Service Engineer - experienced - computer and network support We are Phoenix Technology Solutions, LLC () a Bloomington, MN based provider of outsourced IT solutions. Our Twin Cities-focused service provides onsite and remote solutions for hardware, software, and business I.T. needs. Our overall goal is to ensure our clients operate secure & reliable networks. We are an established company with a 20+ year local presence and seek an experienced field service technician to join our team. Our Field Service Engineers travel locally to client sites and also provide remote support from our Bloomington offices. (60% in the field, 40% in the office). This position is client-focused while providing expert service and technical expertise keeping our clients systems up and running. Functions include set up, maintenance and troubleshooting of: Server Installation, Migration, Server & Desktop Virtualization, Security, Firewalls, Anti-Virus, Networks, VPN's, Wireless, Online Secure Backups and Hosted Applications. Are you an energetic, well rounded, customer - focused technician with 5+ years of recent, relevant technical support experience in the following? ? Configuring and deploying Windows Server, Windows clients and Active Directory ? Exchange, Terminal Services, SQL, and VPN design /deployment ? Router/firewall configuration and network / system security ? Excellent written / oral communication skills and comfortable with on-site client interactions ? Current with industry certifications: MCITP, MCSE, VCP, CCNA helpful ? Work well with others, handle client needs independently ? Mentoring to educate and assist with projects ? Availability for on-call rotation and overtime when needed ? Datacenter Experience and knowledge of Virtualization, Colocation and hosted environments ? Windows Server 2008, SBS 2008/, Exchange 2007/2010, SQL and server clustering ?
