Job/Position Requirements
Prepares and assists in the preparation of all accounting and financial reporting activities compile and assist in the preparation and distribution of financial statements including cash forecasts and any bank reconciliations
Ensure that all deliverables comply with regulatory and professional standards
Provide assistance for internal/external audits and ensure the integrity of accounting information
Assists with special projects assigned by management
The right candidate will continuously update their job with a commitment to continuous improvement
Required Qualifications
Previous automotive experience preferred
Minimum three years manufacturing experience with a focus on cost accounting/finance
Strong analytical ability with a drive for results
Advanced proficiency with MS Office and an aptitude to quickly learn additional software and applications
Working knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, ensuring regulatory compliance
Ability to travel within company facilities within the Metro-Detroit area
Excellent written, verbal and inter-personal communication ability
Bachelor's degree in Accounting of Finance required
3+ years progressive Accounting experience
