Community Engagement Coordinator/Community Builder Job Opening in Providence, Rhode island - Assist residents, organization and institutions in implementation of community development programs. Work with stakeholders, including nonprofits, local and state officials, funders, neighborhood organizations and residents to assure services are offered effectively, including access to recreation, to healthy foods, to public transportation, to prevention of diabetes and other chronic diseases, to services for financial stability, and to healthcare. Organize and administer community engagement meetings, and consortium planning and execution meetings, with associated reporting.
Efforts targeted to the Elmwood and Olneyville neighborhoods. Provide support for placemaking function. Community engagement or organizing background helpful. Grant writing and reporting. Must be able to handle multiple projects, and build relationships.
Must be bilingual.

Salary: $38,000.00 to $45,000.00 /year
