Bookkeeper Job Opening in Murfreesboro, Tennessee - Statewide private non-profit based in Murfreesboro seeking a part-time Bookkeeper no more than 20 hours per week.
This position is responsible for the preparation and maintenance of financial records and reports for THBDF. This position provides financial support to the Executive Director through bookkeeping, payroll, banking and reporting services. Prepare General Ledger and supporting accounts within QuickBooks electronic accounting system. Prepare monthly Financial Statements as required by the Executive Director and THBDF Board of Directors. Prepare ad hoc reports as needed and prepare audit documentation when required. Prepare funding reports and supplemental financial statements to maintain grant compliance. Light clerical and answer phones when needed.
Qualifications: High School Diploma required, degree or diploma in business or administration or certification in bookkeeping or financial management a plus. The ability to work within a 3-staff office setting serving a statewide charity. Minimum 3 years? experience, ideally nonprofit experience. QuickBooks experience required.
