We work on a broad range of business initiatives and objectives by leveraging a wide set of technologies and tools. Our tech stack is based on Java and Angular with custom-built applications are typically deployed as microservices and integrate with technologies such as Kafka, Storm, and Elasticsearch. We are working on a continuous deployment pipeline that leverages Mesos, Docker, and Marathon to provide rapid on-demand releases. Our developers work in an agile process to efficiently deliver high value applications and product packages. Responsibilities · Work on everything from backend, user-interface, and content management to messaging, database systems, and web services. You?ll design, code, test and run the systems.· Create. You will work with the most cutting edge web technology stacks - Java 8, AngularJS, RESTful webservices, Kafka, NoSQL DB.· Innovate. We constantly iterate on features and product packages turning a prescient eye to the industry.· Explore. Qualifications Requirements: · Experienced with functional Java (prefer 1.8) and/or Javascript libraries· Experienced with Java and/or Javascript MVC frameworks (AngularJS or React a plus)· Understanding of noSQL and SQL database technologies and data transfer technologies (Elasticsearch & PostgreSQL are pluses)· Strong attention to detail and debugging skills· Ability to quickly learn and develop against unfamiliar APIs· Ability to estimate and manage time effectively and deliver projects on time· Extreme clarity in communications - both written and verbal.· Team player with a can-do attitude that has the ability to work closely with internal teams across multiple offices, departments, and backgrounds.· Experience developing junior team members while delivering timely, high quality applications· BA/BS or above from a Computer Science program preferred, will consider previous experience· Functional programming skills are a plus· Comfortable working with git or similar source-control systems
