Who Is This
The Accounting Intern is a smart, driven professional in the final stages of their education within accounting or finance and is on the cusp of entering the workforce. You have a desire to learn, especially from individuals already working in your field. If you are an accounting/finance major, then you should already be an individual who exudes detail-orientation, be deadline-driven, grasp prioritization and possess active listening skills. There isn?t a problem too big or small that you will not enjoy solving.
Summary/Objective
This position would be responsible for assisting with the accounts payable process, and processing. The work in this position is detailed, and requires a high-level of accuracy.
Essential Functions
Match bills with POs for approval
Process matched and approved bills
Communicate with purchasing to resolve unapproved bill issues
Process customer payments
Make daily bank deposit
