Account Manager/Freight Broker (inside sales/ops) Job Opening in Salt Lake City, Utah - DLS Worldwide, a leading 3PL provider to Fortune 500 clientele in Salt Lake City, is looking to hire an experienced and motivated Freight Broker / Account Manager to join our inside sales team. We handle Full Truckload, LTL, Ocean, Air, and warehousing solutions for our customers across the Globe. Competitive salary pay with bonus plan and future commission structure.
Responsibilities:
-Managing a current book of business as well as finding new customers and business opportunities.
-Ability to build strong customer relationships
-Rate negotiation with new and current customers
-Booking and covering loads with qualified carriers
-Receive and make phone calls to customers and carriers
-Respond to emails from customers and carriers
-Provide logistic solutions for customers.
-Support the development and integration of new customers.
-Coordinate, book, track, and manage loads in transit.
-Timely and accurate communication with customers to resolve transportation issues.
Requirements and Expectations:
-Previous brokerage experience, one to two years of logistics or brokering experience preferred, but not required.
-Existing customer base-Ability to work independently under general supervision
-Strong organizational skills and attention to details
-Strong problem solving skills
-Ability to be held accountable
-Ability to communicate with team members, customers, and carriers effectively
-Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment

Hourly rate $16-19 plus bonuses/commission
