Our firm is looking for a team-oriented professional who is a motivated self-starter with strong leadership skills and great attention to detail. With your abilities to process complex and high volume employee payrolls, prepare quarterly and annual multi-state payroll and information returns, reconcile bank and credit card activity with monthly statements, correctly account for investments in publicly traded securities, and record and reconcile accounts receivable and payable, you will be able to succeed in our accounting department.
Training and supporting client personnel in proper use of QuickBooks is an integral part of this position, so your excellent oral and written communication skills and enthusiasm for more advanced or technical projects will help you thrive.
Your abilities to develop and maintain professional relationships with clients and firm associates, act with integrity and trustworthiness, and display professional attitude and appearance will be the hallmark of your success.
As a full charge , we look to you to demonstrate efficient work habits, focusing on productivity and producing work that is accurate, thorough, and well documented. Your ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines will show us you have what it takes to move up the corporate ladder!
Requirements
Your 5+ years as a full charge or assistant controller in industry or in public accounting will be your first stepping stone to success at our firm. Our firm operates in a paperless environment, so proficiency with QuickBooks Premier and Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, are required. An accounting degree is preferred, but not required.
