Automation Controls Manager Job Opening in Chattanooga, Tennessee - Automation Controls Manager / PLC Software Engineer / Controls Engineer / PLC Programmer
Robbins & Bohr, LLC, a Chattanooga based company for over 68 years is seeking a full-time Automation Controls Manager to design, assemble and commission automation systems using servo, hydraulic and electromechanical components.
Essential Functions :
Programming of new systems and maintaining present infrastructure of PLC's
Design and build control panels
Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Basic knowledge of electro-hydraulics
Meet with new and existing customers
Programs and Equipment :
General programming experience including but not limited to:
1. Allen Bradley CompactLogix, ControlLogix, SLC500, PLC5
2. Codesys
3. Delta Computer Systems
4. Wago
5. HMI
6. NEC code knowledge
7. Proficient in AutoCAD
Communication
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, programmers, staff engineers, and machine operators
Character Traits
Self-motivation and able to work independently or as part of a team
Experience
2+ years of related employment is preferred
Travel
Able to travel in Tennessee and surrounding areas for sales support and projects
