Diamond Tool & Engineering, Inc. is a manufacturer of injection molds. We provide the final mold build according to customer specifications. Diamond specializes in precision tooling, including difficult resins, LSR, and MIM, as well as complex rotating and pick and place two-shot, over mold, insert mold, and high cavitation tooling. Diamond tool typically builds and samples molds between 1-32 cavity that fit in a 35 to 450 ton press. Coordination between sales and engineering is important in developing long term customer relationships.
Expectations:
Target and identify potential companies with which Diamond could establish long term relationships.
Establish and build long-term relationships with customers, in a solutions-based consultant role. We do not sell one mold.
Train with salesforce CRM and effectively use the system in order keep the sales process moving forward with customers and prospects.
The company expects salespeople to identify types of tooling required, potential sales dollars, potential product margins, and favorable payment terms.
Capitalize on good opportunities by closing deals which provide orders for the company. Relationship building is important in keeping the pulse of an active project and understanding where it is at.
Coordinate sales and quoting staff to make sure quotations are accurate and on-time. Work with customer to understand expectations PRIOR to quoting.
Attend industry trade shows and represent positively. Coordinate meetings at these events with current and prospective customers.
Provide clear and accurate communications to inside staff so that they will provide exceptional service and engineered solutions to potential and current customers.
Be a leader inside the organization so that growth of the business becomes dependable.
Be accountable for the performance of the company and provide solutions that make a difference.
Travel 40-60% of the time with 4-8 overnights per month.
Education and Experience
High School Education or equivalent GED.
Basic Knowledge of Injection Mold Tooling or be trainable in engineered solutions. the desire to learn and succeed is key. We will train the right candidate.
