High Desert Harley-Davidson is currently looking for a full-time, highly motivated, driven; take-charge A/P and H/R Administrator.
Job Description:
In this position, you will be responsible for processing all invoices received for payment and for undertaking the payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.
This position also supports the areas of Human Resources systems and processes, benefits, and employee and labor agreement administration.
Responsibilities:
Correlation of purchase orders and delivery receipts
Entering accounts payable invoices into the system
Reconciling vendor statements
Maintaining purchase orders and purchase order journal
Posting of customer payments
Responsible for resolving receivable and payment discrepancies
Assist in the continual update of laws and regulations concerning personnel and employment laws and regulations
Additional Duties:
Assist with answering incoming calls in a professional manner and connect to appropriate dept of personnel
Assist other staff members in maintaining employment records, which includes pre-employment screening, new hire documentation, corrective discipline records, documents, etc.
Requirements:
Proven working experience as accounts payable clerk
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles
Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills
Effective organizational, stress and time management skills
Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work independently or as a team member
Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration OR work related equivalent
