SOX Internal Audit Job Job Opening in Overland Park, Kansas - Accounting Principals is working with a client on an Internal Audit SOX project. This job will start in August and last into 2018. You will report to Internal Audit Manager and work together on projects. You?ll spend your days verifying the audit section and altering testing processes and methods for sampling based upon risk and other factors. Then you?ll work with your managers to execute audits on designated areas. Document efforts.
Internal Audit SOX Project Job Duties:
Review and confirm the correct population for the audit
Ensure testing procedures and samples are correct based upon multiple factors
Go through audit process on chosen samples
Document all efforts in Archer, SOX documentation software
Identify and report any issues that are identified
Qualifications
Bachelor?s or Master?s Degree in accounting/auditing
Current SOX knowledge
1-2 prior public accounting or SOX testing
Ability to pick up new software programs quickly
Comfortable working with upper management
