Full-time Athletic Trainer
Cover all aspects of Sports Medicine: Assessment, evaluation, prevention and treating athletes of all ages and abilities. Assist Physical Therapist in patient care and other clinic related activities as needed. Work with Missoula Bone and Joint Outreach Sports Medicine Program to provide medical coverage at sporting events at local high schools. The program currently covers weekly training room hours, practice coverage, events, tournaments and other events needing Athletic Training services.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) or Masters degree from four-year college or university
Licensure by the Montana State Board of Athletic Trainers, (LAT)
BOC Certified Athletic Trainer ? In good standing
BLS Healthcare Provider CPR
High school graduation or GED
One year related experience and/or training
Must work well with people
Effective communication skills
Strong ethical and moral character references
Willingness to support and encourage co-workers
Ability and Willingness to drive personal vehicle to and from sporting events up to 80 mile radius of Missoula (Reimbursed for mileage and drive time)
Ability to work nights and weekends
Preferred:
One year experience in a physical therapy or medical facility
Individual malpractice liability coverage
