Quality & Infection Control Nurse-1.0 FTE Job Opening in Conrad, Montana - This position encompasses the role of Infection Control and Quality Improvement Coordinator. The Infection Control Coordinato r is responsible for identification, investigation, reporting, prevention and control of infections throughout the Medical Center. The ICC is responsible for conducting & assisting with educational programs related to infection control and prevention, developing policies, and implementing performance improvement measures that ensure the Medical Center meets the Infection Prevention requirements of CDC, OSHA, and other federal and state regulatory agencies. In addition this position is responsible for the overall development and implementation of quality programs. Uses Lean, or similar management principles, or has been trained in these management principles for assistance in team-focused problem solving, root cause analysis, process documentation, team building, efficiency, staff development and involvement, and continuous quality improvement.
: Minimum of two years? experience working directly as a Quality & Infection Control Nurse and implementing quality and/or infection control methods in a hospital setting. Certification in Infection Control preferred. Experience in leading organization wide initiatives effectively required. TQM, Six Sigma or prominent methods of improving effectiveness and efficiency.
Technical Skills:
Strong analytical and organizational skills required.
Ability to execute multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
Able to handle stressful situations competently, effectively, and courteously.
