Game Developer Job Opening in Las Vegas, Nevada - POSITION SUMMARY
Game Developer will be responsible for assembling game assets from Math, Art and Sound departments as well as coding programs. Software will be scripted in Ainsworth?s proprietary language and coding programs, therefore the ability to write code and an understanding of scripting languages is a must requirement (C++/HTML/CSS/JS/XML).
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Study game requirements and specifications.
Build and complete projects using waterfall/agile methodology.
Investigate and identify math, graphical and game-play issues.
Embrace changing priorities based on game delivery schedules.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge & Skills:
Software Development experience with Object-Oriented Design and/or
Web Development experience with scripting languages.
Must be able to excel independently and in a team environment.
Must have strong organizational and time management skills.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming license, which includes background check and drug test.
Education:
Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Web Design, Game Design or equivalent work experience.
Other Requirements:
The successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming license.
