Director of Operations Overview:
Supports company mission, goals and operations while maintaining office systems and providing leadership and supervision to staff.
Director of Operations Job Duties:
Maintain office services by organizing office operations and procedures; preparing payroll; controlling correspondence; designing filing systems; reviewing and approving supply requisitions; assigning and monitoring clerical functions.
Provide historical reference by defining procedures for retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records.
Maintain office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement.
Design and implement office policies by establishing standards and procedures; measuring results against standards; making necessary adjustments.
Develop and implement strategies and process changes that bring efficiency and/or revenue growth.
Complete operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
Update and create a plan for annual HIPAA, OSHA, ACLS, BLS and credentialing practitioners
Keep management informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports, summarizing information, and identifying trends.
Support recruiting and maintain office staff by orienting and training employees.
Maintain office staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results, documenting when necessary.
Oversee the management of office staff with a vanguard approach to achieving employee potential and performance, maintaining a culture of teamwork and mutual support.
Work directly with supervisory staff to create and implement policy and workflow changes.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Director of Operations Job Requirements:
Master's Degree in Healthcare Admin or Public Health (Applicants with equivalent work history plus 2 year RN degree will be considered)
7+ years experience in healthcare
7+ years Director/HR/Office Manager experience
Experience implementing and processing payroll
Passionate about health and wellness
Self-motivated and self-starter
High energy, positive attitude and ability to lead and direct in a high volume setting
Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Strong critical thinking skills and problem solver with excellent communication skills
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Preferred candidates will have the following, but not required:
Experience with Project Management
Experience with Revenue Cycle Management and Medical Coding
Experience in business development and expansion
Experience with EMR implementation, particularly NueMD
Previous Practitioner, RN or LPN experience
Previous Integrative Healthcare experience
This is a Monday through Friday salaried position that requires 45+ hours a week. We are located in the heart of rush hour, in Dunwoody, right off of I285. While this is a great location for our patients?, it can provide a challenge for our employees. Please keep this in mind when applying.
