We are looking for reliable part time independent contractors who desire to provide quality professional services. Job Summary:
Our independent contractors (ICs) are self-motivated, detail oriented, organized and able to work with minimal supervision, ready to to deliver quality professional healthcare service. Prior experience is a plus. Our ICs will prepare the patient for every procedure, and create confidence and trust. They are able to draw blood in a safe, and accurate manner, and be able to prepare the specimens for lab testing. They follow all compliance policies and safety policies and procedures as outlined in the APPS Paramedical contract. Remaining sensitive to the need for the accuracy and confidentiality in the gathering of client information.
Exams : Our examiners go to the client to complete the exams. The exams can be any combination of taking medical histories, height, weight, pulse and blood pressures plus blood/urine/saliva and occasionally 12 lead EKG's for insurance applicants. Depending on the exam requirements, they can last anywhere from 15 minutes to a little over an hour.

Qualifications:
Education preferred: High school diploma or equivalency. Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certificate preferred.
Work experience: Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience, as familiarity with taking vital signs. Preferred experience with pediatric and geriatric patients/home health. EKG experience is preferred, but not required.
