Executive Director Job Opening in Audubon, Pennsylvania - ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES This summarizes the major essential duties and responsibilities regularly performed and normally assigned to this position. Responsible for entire Customer Service Management program in Rehab at Shannondell and The Meadows at Shannondell
Ensure post experience feedback is obtained, analyzed and followed up on
Establish direct relationship with all new admissions in both facilities
Establish direct relationship with all family members of new admissions in both facilities
Manage facility regulatory readiness and preparation on an ongoing basis
Ensure facility is current on regulatory changes as they relate to DOH, DHS, CMS and any other applicable governmental agency
Conduct routine audits to assist in maintaining compliance
Responsible for complete management of quality improvement program in Rehab at Shannondell and The Meadows at Shannondell
Implement all required aspects of quality program in both facilities
Conduct monthly meeting with applicable follow up and departmental involvement
Ensure compliance with all components as dictated by DOH, DHS etc? to include staff ed requirements in PC and Infection control requirements in Rehab
Oversee all managed care contracts in Rehab facility
Renew current contracts according to timeframe of current contract
Market for and acquire new managed care contracts that will assist in business development and market growth
Responsible to ensure that the physical plant of both Rehab at Shannondell and The Meadows is maintained in impeccable condition at all times.
Responsible to manage facility labor costs (both Rehab and The Meadows)
Directly connected to facility recruitment plan and tracking of open positions with plan to fill
Work closely with recruiters to understand strategy and timing
Assist with interviews when applicable
Responsible for overall bed management at The Meadows to ensure facility?s census is desirable and above budgeted targets:
Possessing thorough knowledge and understanding of the community represented and the sales process.
Establish and manage facility wait list with a focus on Shannondell Residents
Generating and tracking prospects, ensuring effective follow through on all inquiries and nurturing prospect decision making.
Developing and implementing a marketing strategy for the facility that reflects service opportunities, competition, potential market area changes, and which maximizes census and ancillary revenues. Lead and monitor key staff to play an active role in carrying out the marketing plan. Take initiative in evaluation, development and implementation of new business opportunities that meet the needs of the community and benefit the facility/community.
Ability to discuss the nuances of the different services and levels of care of Shannondell and the Meadows.
Representing the community in a professional image.
Contacting discharge planners, physicians and other appropriate sources within the Primary Market Area in order to generate referrals.
Pharmacy Management ? responsible for management of pharmacy operations for The Meadows at Shannondell and Rehab at Shannondell
