JOB SUMMARY: The Staff Dietitian provides clinical care to patients through an interdisciplinary and collaborative approach that takes into consideration all aspects of health, with the specific scope of treating overweight and obesity as a disease.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Nutritional histories of patients
Work within a multidisciplinary clinical team
Nutrition examinations and other appropriate diagnostic procedures
Designing and providing a nutritional care plan individualized to each patient, considering patient?s health, condition, circumstances and needs (focusing on the diagnosis of overweight and obesity)
Accurately notates and updates patient records accounting
Keep comprehensive records of history of patients, examinations, care plans, procedures, medications, treatments, and communications

Position Description:
At CoreLife, the Dietitian creates the nutrition portion of a patient's care plan. You will meet with patients and provide assistance in the areas of nutritional assessment, diet plans, and nutritional education.
You will also help with patient follow up visits to provide counseling.
The goal of the Dietitian is to help maintain a high quality of care by overseeing all aspects of the patient?s nutrition and diet.
Some key duties are the following:
Completes chart review, client interview and nutritional assessment as necessary to ensure appropriate dietary and nutritional programming is in place
Assists in the customizing of individual diets and menu plans as necessary
Position Requirements:
We are seeking a professional to join our team. This individual must possess strong interpersonal & communication skills, and have the following qualifications:
Education:
BS in Food, Nutrition and Institutional Management or equivalent

Member of a Dietetic Association preferred
Valid Driver?s License
Experience: Experience with overweight/obese individuals preferred, specialized diets, at least 2 years of practice.

Salary: $50,000.00 to $55,000.00 /year
