Senior Estimator Job Opening in Baltimore, Maryland - Our client, Plano-Coudon Construction is seeking a Senior Estimator with experience estimating both small and large projects. This position is available immediately and is based in Baltimore, Maryland. This is a full-time position that reports to the Chief Estimator.
The Senior Estimator will provide estimating services for a variety of project types and market segments including:
Healthcare
Education
Commercial/Retail
Nonprofit/Religious
Multi-unit Residential
Senior Estimator Responsibilities
Duties will include RFP proposal responses, conceptual budgeting, CM trade package bidding and lump sum bidding situations to be delivered under various construction delivery methods. This position will be responsible for responding to an RFP from inception through final submission. In addition, must be comfortable with client interaction, including explanation of pricing and overall approach to the project.
Senior Extimator Experience and Qualifications
5+ years' experience estimating for commercial and institution construction projects.
Experience using Timberline Estimating Extended Software and PlanSwift Takeoff Software.
Experience estimating MEP systems (Division 15/16) preferred.
Ability to on specific scopes of work.
Excellent Written and Oral Communication skills.
