Kitchen Helper Job Opening in Honokaa, Hawaii - Healthcare facility in Honokaa is now hiring for a full-time Kitchen Helper position! This position will be responsible for preparing and serving meals, cleaning kitchen and dining areas, and ensuring the cleanliness of all related utensils and equipment.
Previous experience is not required but we do ask that you have familiarity with methods, materials, and equipment used to prepare various types of food. We are also looking for candidates that are always motivated and eager to learn a new skills or two.

$13.00 Hourly
Additional Responsibilities:
Prepare general food items including vegetables, salads, toast, desserts, and fruits
Perform data entry on manufacturing codes and product shelf life
Ensure food safety to prevent food borne illnesses
Measure food servings
Assemble and deliver food trays
Maintain logs of patient food intake
Wash kitchen utensils and operate the dishwasher
Mop and clean kitchen and related areas
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Education and Qualifications:
Familiarity with methods, materials, and equipment used to prepare raw and processed foods
Willing to learn use of advanced kitchen equipment and appliances
Reliable and hardworking
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work cooperatively with others
