We are currently hiring for On-Call Medical Assistants, up to 19 hours per week.
Our position will allow you to contribute in the following ways:
Taking medical histories
Recording vital signs
Preparing patients for exams
Administering shots
Preparing lab specimens, performing basic lab tests, sterilizing medical equipment
Advising on treatment plans
Cleaning waiting and examination rooms, ordering supplies and equipment
Performing EKG?s and Audio/Visual testing
Assisting Physician with other duties as needed
Desired Qualifications:
High school degree or completion of GED required
Completion of Medical Assisting Program required
Minimum of 1 year of qualified work experience within medical field desired
Must be detail-oriented, organized and a good multi-tasker with the ability to work under pressure
