Full Stack Web Application Developer Job Opening in Glastonbury, Connecticut - The Full Stack Web Application Developer is responsible for designing technology solutions that support business functions, processes and applications. Applies knowledge and solutions, and functions in development and evaluation of alternatives for web solutions. Ensures adherence to ZAG Interactive architecture standards and methodologies where practical. Where standard solutions are not available, have the ability to work with the client to develop the most effective solutions, ensuring that solutions address all functional and non-functional requirements, and leads multifunctional teams in the successful integration of application components. The Full Stack Web Application Developer is the technical lead responsible for applications long-term and for both projects and maintenance, starting from inception and elaboration through construction and transition to maintenance and during maintenance. Provides high-end technical and architectural support to projects and to the business.
Qualifications
Education:
Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, MUST live and work in Connecticut.
Work Experience:
Required: 5+ years? experience within an application development organization.
Technical Skills:
Required: Strong skills (, JAVA, SQL, etc.). Familiarity with architectural practices (TOGAF, etc.).
Proficiency in multi-tiered architecture, design, and implementation.
Non-Technical Skills:
Required: Strong team and interpersonal skills. Strong creativity in solution design; inventive thinking. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong decision making, analysis and problem-solving skills; mindful of performance when solutions.
Other:
