Job Opening in Baltimore, Maryland - Dolabany Eyewear is an independent ophthalmic frame company that designs, produces and distributes high-quality, fashionable house brands: Dolabany, Plume Paris and Mario Galbatti throughout the United States and select international markets. Dolabany Eyewear is based in Miami, FL.
Dolabany is seeking a goal-oriented, dynamic, energetic and enthusiastic sales representative for one the company's emerging territories, which includes Eastern Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, Greater DC Area (Northern Virginia). Territory Sales Representative should live centrally located within territory.
Requisites: Territory Sales Representative will be responsible for building the relationships with the established customer base, independent optical retailers, within assigned area while continuing to prospect, or ?cold call? and develop a growing territory. Territory Sales Representative will be evaluated on and expected to demonstrate an ability to manage a sizeable territory, foster lasting customer relationships, and increase territory income. It is important to note that overnight travel, reliable transportation, and the ability to lift a sample bag of up to 50 pounds are required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prospect and Cold-Call over the phone and in-person to introduce the brands and company, open new accounts, and maintain current accounts
Present with enthusiasm the company, company philosophy, history, brands, and product lines
Develop relationships with prospect and current accounts using several modes of communication (in-person, by phone, social media)
Traveling to visit prospect and current accounts with reliable transportation
Manage sizeable territory, ability to divide territory into manageable sectors
Maintain accurate prospect and customer information
Use Microsoft Office to complete reports, maintain customer records
Complete timely weekly reports for submission
Maintain calendar of prospect and customer appointments/events
Network on social media platforms to network and maintain communication with potential and current customers
Accurately complete sales forms from customers for submission
Maintain regular communication with customers, office staff, management
Other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proven ability to meet and surpass sales quotas
Ability to build relationships
Excellent Business, Communication, and Time management skills
Excellent organization of customer information, territory, and call cycle
Excellent verbal, written and presenting skills
Proactive, energetic, problem-solver
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Email
Education and Experience:
Outside sales experience is required.
Strong Computer and presentation skills are both required.
A college degree is preferred.
Optical sales experience is preferred.
