Senior Data Systems Advisor Job Opening in Providence, Rhode island - NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Senior Data Systems Integration Advisor to join our Health Care team in Providence RI Role Responsibilities
- Perform technical feasibility assessment for the prioritized opportunities and defined use cases- Recommend solution architecture for the prioritized opportunities and identified use cases
- end to end Data Integration & ETL architecture solutions and performance tuning of existing systems
- Contribute towards consulting engagements on defining project roadmaps, future trends and technology adoption- Engage in the Data Analytics Transformation program and support the design and architecture activities of the Projects identified by the client team
- Recommend industry leading practices for implementation of the prioritized opportunities and identified use cases
- Develop and share Business case & and Return On Investment (ROI) justifications for the Data Ecosystem
- Enhancement Projects and Data Ecosystem Development Projects identified by BCBSRI
- Champion data quality, integrity and reliability throughout the department by designing and promoting best practices
.- Oversees standardization of data definition
- Oversees development of Physical and Logical modeling- Consults with business on business needs
- Formulates and recommends standards for achieving maximum performance and efficiency of the EDR environment
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience delivering business intelligence solutions
- Healthcare Payer domain experience
- Good experience with OLTP and OLAP database models- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Fluent in relational database concepts and flat file processing concepts
- Well versed in data architecture, understands how to interpret and integrate conceptual models, logical models, view models (snowflake, star-schema), object models
- Expert knowledge and experience in design and development of BI solutions using reporting, ETL, database scripting and related tools
- Proficiency in technical solution building in Netezza environment.
- Hands on experience in datawarehouse/data mart implementation in Oracle or Netezza environment
- Must be knowledgeable in software development i.e. agile
