Software Development Engineer - 766 Job Opening in Corvallis, Oregon - Responsibilities
Design, develop, test and deploy software providing cloud based publishing solutions.
Unit testing, debugging new and/or existing software, performance tuning and optimization of existing code.
Operations monitoring functionality for cloud based publishing solutions
Documentation necessary for development and support of publishing solutions.
Provide expertise to identify and translate system requirements into software design documentation.
Design reviews, code reviews, pair programming and featured demonstration.
Interface and coordinate tasks with internal and external technical resources.
Facilitate process improvement and cross project coordination.
Qualifications
Bachelors of Computer Science or higher
Proficient in Java and Linux.
Experience in Scala.
Working knowledge of any database (MySQL or MongoDB)
Established scripting skills ? Shell (bash, ksh, csh)
Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum processes.
Demonstrate knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design pattern principles, Java, J2EE, Javascript, SQL, CSS and Ajax.
Knowledge and experience in test automation and test driven development.
Must be eligible to work in the United States
