*Staff Accountant Position:

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Handle the day-to-day transactions in accounts payable and accounts receivable including proper allocation of expenses and chargebacks.
Prepare general ledger postings and daily bank reconciliations for two operating companies.
Ensure all Monthly chargebacks are properly allocated and timely billed to customers.
Onboard new customers, vendors and assist with year-end 1099 reporting.
Collect open receivables and expense coding of company credit card charges and reconciliations.
Correspond and communicate with internal staff, vendors, and customers.
Track and manage projects from start to finish. Follow up with vendors and staff members to ensure costs are properly allocated.
Staff support to commission processing and tracking of various commission tier structures.
Document, label, and file away accounting files and recorded keeping.
Assist Controller with duties as assigned and executive team with other duties as needed.
Provide support and assistance to company personal and executive staff.
Prepare Monthly and Quarterly B&O, BLT Taxes.
Prioritize and plan work activities and use time efficiently.
Other as identified and assigned by Controller.
Qualifications:
At least 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience, Associates degree in accounting or equivalent experience and education.
Must be organized, possess strong attention to detail with ability to ensure accuracy in job delivery.
Must be able to multi-task and handle high volumes of detailed transactions accurately.
Must be proficient in QuickBooks, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Must have the ability to meet deadlines and thrives in a fast-pasted environment.
Must have strong interpersonal skills and good oral and written communication skills.
Must be able to work independently and as a team with a ?can-do? attitude.
Must be open to be cross-trained with other roles as assigned.
