Certified Staff Auditor Job Opening in Seattle, Washington - The staff auditor will work as part of a team under the guidance of an experienced accountant/auditor on audit engagements, usually conducted at clients? offices. Initially the staff auditor will assist in the audit of selected financial statement accounts, document accounting systems and internal controls, prepare appropriate audit workpapers, and assist in the preparation of financial statements and management letters. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively as staff auditors work closely with client personnel and all audit team members, including partners . Candidates must be interested in sitting for the CPA exam.
Education:
Must have degree in accounting; finance majors will be considered if they have completed Intermediate II or its equivalent.
Skills:
Should have knowledge of automated accounting systems and be proficient in word processing and spreadsheet applications.
