Sales Analyst Job Opening in Tulsa, Oklahoma - The role is very exciting, includes travel, continuous senior management exposure and is considered as a great career step within Navico.
The Sales Analyst will create both standardized & custom reports, conduct quantitative solutions & sales analysis, collaborates with Service, Product Management, Marketing, Logistics and Finance to create a more holistic view and assess future needs and data integrity. The Sales Analyst must develop standardized tools, methodologies and business processes aimed at improving operational efficiency and maximizing revenue and gross margin results.

Additional responsibility for the overall planning, management and completion of Sales projects on a wide variety of business units and programs. Travel frequency can vary quite a bit, but there should be willingness to travel significantly (20-50% of the time depending on projects).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

Sales, Business and Financial Analysis:
Collect, analyze, evaluate and report data in order to increase sales productivity.
Assist senior management in developing and reviewing the sales budget and rolling sales forecast including sales to budget variance analysis.
Analyze line of business operations to determine profitability and to establish a baseline for action and operational changes.
Coordinate the sales reporting and forecasting process within the sales department in liaison with Logistics, Supply Chain and Finance.
Communicate sales reporting and sales forecasting to Senior Management results and set up reports containing respective conclusions, ideas, and general guidance.
Generate ad hoc reporting
Provide customized reporting and recommendations in support of ongoing business decisions or initiatives.
Communicate results to Senior Management and Sales Team in order to support informed business decisions by providing in-depth analysis and recommendations.
Facilitate regular business reviews with key customers in each region.
Project Management:
Serves a critical role in coordinating within the Retail Sales team on actions and inputs required for various divisional projects as assigned by the Head of Sales.
Is accountable to the Head of Sales for key sales deliverables on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad hoc basis.
Oversees regular project status/quality meetings and reports.
Addresses project issues and keeps Head of Sales informed on a timely basis on progress, status and/or concerns for each assignment.
Develops program implementation and communication plans and demonstrates effective communication to the Senior Management team, project team(s) and stakeholders.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Master?s degree in business, accounting, finance or a related field with 2-5 years experience, MBA or Executive Master preferred.
Retail experience a strong plus (working with a supplier on Wal Mart, Best Buy Target etc)
Strong business acumen and organizational skills; project management experience is a plus.
Ability to capture and document business and reporting requirements from multiple sources.
Ability to coordinate and manage simultaneous data analysis requests of varying size and scope.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information to a broad audience.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Strong knowledge of MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, advanced Excel user.
Ability to draft effective sales presentations.
