*We are seeking a sales professional with a strong track record in outside sales or the beauty salon industry to join our tenured salesforce. The position involves consulting with stylists/salons to sell a variety of haircare products,, cold calling to generate new business, and implementing educational and marketing programs for your customer base.
Job Description:
Service established independent salon owners in Sioux Falls and Sioux City markets as well as outlying areas while establishing new customer accounts. Key population areas of Sioux Falls, Sioux City, Brookings will be the primary areas for sales development.
Focus sales efforts by maintaining a pre-planned territory call schedule, sell current monthly promotions, and prospect for new business on a daily basis. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, sales meetings, and trade shows.
Key Qualifications:
Previous sales experience and/or the ability to sell value added products to new/existing customers
Excellent planning and organizational skills, strong relationship building, and the flexibility to adapt and adjust your day to assist customers in this fast paced environment
Self-motivation & drive for results
Desire to work in outside route sales
Salary: $35,000 plus is approximate first year earnings - includes salary & commission
Required experience:
Outside sales: 1 year of outside sales or recent graduate that desires an outside sales position
Helpful experience: business to business sales
