Software Engineer (Frontend - JavaScript, AngularJS) Job Opening in Dallas, Texas - At S5, we are on a mission to make Advanced Data Science consumable to Business Users. As part of that mission, we are disrupting the Retail Supply Chain and Merchandising with the most advanced and innovative offerings to date in this space.
To support our aggressive growth, we are actively seeking talent (at multiple levels) to join our R&D team. S5's R&D team is responsible for creating massively parallel systems while leveraging the deep understanding of distributed computing and machine learning.

Required Skills:
Frontend Development experience along with advanced level skills in Javascript, CSS & SASS, ES6 is a MUST for this role. (You must attach a link to your portfolio)
Experience with Functional Programming, AngularJS, React, and related web technologies is desired.
Expertise in solving complex technical problems and providing simple, elegant solutions.
Experience in any of the following: Cassandra, Hadoop, Elastic Search, Zookeeper, Spring Framework, and PostgreSQL is nice to have.
Knowledge of or familiarity with SaaS solutions.
Experience with real time analytics and planning applications.
Have a BS/MS/Ph.D. in Computer Science or related field.
