Sales Representative Job Opening in Madison, Wisconsin - Title: Sales Representative
Status: Full Time -Exempt
Shift: Day
Salary: Commensurate upon experience
The essential functions and duties of the sales representative role are:
-Build and maintain a customer base
-Ensure customer satisfaction and good customer relationships
-Respond to concerns by phone, electronically, or in person
-Sample product with customers
-Create pricing sheets for customers
-Take customer orders over the phone and in person
-Enter customer orders on a tablet
-Complete scheduled cold call prospecting activities to establish first and follow up appointments with customer decision makers.
-Regularly meet with Sales Supervisor to review weekly sales activities, progress of goals, and status of prospective customers.
-Attend regular sales meetings and trainings
Qualifications:
-Excellent communication and customer service skills
-Have knowledge of the food distributing industry
-Must be proficient in: Outlook and Microsoft applications
-Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
Requirements:
-Must have a bachelor?s degree in sales or a related field
-Must have at least two years of previous sales experience
