The Care Centered Collaborative (CCC) is a for-profit subsidiary of the Pennsylvania Medical Society (PAMED), a statewide physician advocacy organization based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. CCC is strategically investing in Pennsylvania physicians while helping to preserve physician-led practices as a healthcare option for Pennsylvania patients. This will be accomplished through development of physician-led clinically integrated networks as well as a Management Services Organization.

The Role
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Director, Data Analytics will lead development, implementation, and oversight of a cohesive data analytics strategy to measure performance and maximize impact on population health outcomes. This position analyzes claims, electronic medical record, health information exchange, and other data sources to identify opportunities for clinical improvement. The ideal candidate will have experience in population health, database management, reporting, dashboard creation, and strategic analytics.
Job Description
Project manage ongoing relationships with population health technology and other vendors and with customers
Work with business partners to develop and improve data sharing processes while advancing insights into population health risks
Pro-actively work with customers and serve as the ?point of contact? for data requirements, issues, and solutions
Coordinate interface build activities with customer IT resources and third-party vendors
Responsible for participation in testing, training, support, and ongoing optimization of the population health management application
Prepare data reports for distribution to customers
Identify opportunities for improvement through interfacing, integration, and other technical solutions
Identify, analyze, and, interpret trends and patterns in complex data sets to help determine clinical priorities and initiatives and to measure the effectiveness of these initiatives
Use healthcare analytics to mine claims data to measure program-level impact and identify opportunities for improved treatment, prevention and cost reductions
Maintain data privacy and confidentiality policies and procedures
Education and Experience
Bachelor?s degree required, Master?s preferred with concentration in a quantitative discipline such as information technology, computer science, mathematics, or statistics
Minimum five years? experience with project management, data analysis, and report design
Experience with population health or clinical data analysis
Demonstrated ability to interpret healthcare data and effectively present sophisticated analyses and findings to physicians, customers, and lay audiences
Experience developing complex SQL, Access, and Excel queries to retrieve data from large transactional databases and data warehouses required
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills
Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail
Ability to take full ownership of projects, meeting scheduled deadlines with minimal supervision
