Warehouse Management Software Analyst/Implementation Consult... Job Opening in Charleston, South carolina - Robocom Systems International is looking for a Warehouse Management Software Consultant to join our projects team at or near one of our office locations. As a leader in the supply chain software and services industry for over 30 years, Robocom?s solutions include Warehouse Management, 3PL Billing, Transportation Management, Voice Technology and Labor Management. An Enterprise Transportation System and Enterprise Resource Planning System round out our Supply Chain Execution offering. Robocom?s investment in research and development is keenly focused on the needs of the business leaders responsible for the day-to-day results in warehousing, distribution, third party logistics, transportation and trucking operations. The Robocom project team provides project management, analysis, testing and support throughout the Software Development Life Cycle for the Robocom suite of products, as well as project management, consultation and support services directly to Robocom customers.
The Warehouse Management Software Consultant will collaborate with other Analyst/Consultants, Software Engineers, Quality Assurance teams, Project and Product Managers as we provide solutions to client requests and enhance the capabilities of our product offerings.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct research and collect data in support of client engagements
Create functional design documents for software changes and enhancements
Create and execute test plans for software changes and enhancements
Configure software for client engagements
Provide consultation, training, diagnostic, implementation and support services to Robocom customers
Travel to customer sites as needed
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
Warehouse Management Software knowledge and experience
The desire and ability to learn new software solutions
Good SQL knowledge and experience working with reporting tools
Excellent written, verbal and listening communication skills
A quick study
The ability to work independently or with a team, resourceful and eager to learn
Good problem solving and analytical abilities
Results oriented
Ability to work in a busy and changing environment
Comfortable working with the Microsoft Office Suite of Products including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and 10+ years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience in the supply chain management field with an emphasis on warehouse management software.
