Kaplan is currently seeking a mid to senior level Software Engineer III - Front End to assist in creating and developing engaging student experiences. Your previous experience should include the development of modern, responsive web based interfaces, defining and engineering user experiences, as well, leveraging technologies such as Angular, React, and HTML5.
Key Responsibilities:
Design the User Experience and Interfaces for new and existing platforms.
Develop UI/UX using front end technologies, including Angular, React, HTM5, CSS, and JavaScript.
Create early stage mock-ups, wire-frames and layouts based on platform requirements.
Provide leadership to other front-end engineers to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality product.
Performance and optimization tuning of client facing web user interfaces.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field
5+ Years' User Experience and Interface Development
Extensive knowledge of UX Design Systems (Adobe, etc.), development software tools and experience in Visual Studio or other Modern IDE environments.
Intermediate experience with a rich variety of design and software engineering principles, theories, and concepts. Experience with mentorship in design, development, implementation, peer code reviews, and technical meetings.
Experience with finding creative solutions, juggling multiple concurrent projects, releasing rapidly, and producing elegant, customer-centric applications.
Application development experience creating SPA applications, MVC, AJAX/jQuery, CSS, and other web development technologies.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies
