EMR Implementation/Training Analyst Job Opening in Brentwood, Tennessee - Responsible for QDP?s EMR and Practice Support applications. Primary efforts will be the analysis and design of medical documentation, billing, transcription, dictation and other processes and procedures related to a Dermatology company. Focus will be on system integration, optimization, standardization, documentation, and training efforts. Use technologies where applicable to help company achieve its goals. Responsible for establishing, building and maintaining strategic relationships between application vendors and other supporting entities. Handle level 2 type escalations with a timely identification and resolution of issues and problems. This position reports directly to the IT Director.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Analyzes and designs processes and procedures related to EMR and billing functions.
· Documents and trains team members with respect to EMR/billing applications.
· Uses technologies to enhance business processes and optimize system flow.
· Level 2 type support ? handles timely identification and resolution of issues.
· Establishes and maintains vendor application relationships.

· Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously.
· Ability to communicate with employees, physicians and various business contacts in a professional and courteous manner.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills, thinks critically and strategically.
· Excellent skills and works well with others using tact and diplomacy.
· Implements initiatives in a strategic manner with minimal supervision and can multi-task and take direction in a matrixed work environment.
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
· Preferred: Bachelor?s degree from a 4 year university program.
· Professional experience working in Information Systems in the healthcare area is a major plus.
· Possesses fundamental knowledge of healthcare EMR systems and processes.
Qualifications:
· Must be highly professional in appearance, tone and delivery and an effective communicator.
· Dedicated to follow-thru and results.
· Flexibility as it relates to schedule, responsibilities and priorities.
· Knowledge of dermatology practice preferable.
· The ability to interact with, support and influence positively the behavior and activities of referring physicians, superiors and staff/co-workers.
· Must be an exceptional listener, with the proven ability to problem-solve issues discussed.
· Interpersonal skills and strong organizational skills are important.
· Public speaking and presenting skills.
· The ability to work independently and in a group setting, high integrity, reasonable and thoughtful judgment, a sense of urgency and analytical and intuitive skills.
· Experience spreadsheets and reports and an expert in data analysis.
· Have high levels of critical thinking skills, negotiation skills, and the ability to interact with a broad spectrum of individuals.
· Must have a valid driver?s license and good driving record.
Additional Notes:
· Occasional night or weekend shift may be required.
· Occasional travel may be required.
