QHD is looking for full-time medical billing professionals who have expertise in the following areas:
Handling and resolving multiple and complex billing issues
Outpatient billing in primary care settings
Coding and claim submission
Posting EOB?s
Denial & Appeals Management
Familiarity with the complete claim billing cycle
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Experience communicating with medical office personnel working in the outpatient environment.
Job Qualifications:
Certified Professional Coder preferred
Electronic medical record (EMR) experience required
3-5 years? experience with physician office billing/coding
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent computer skills
High level of professionalism
Self-motivated
Organized and efficient
Previous experience with insurance payers including Medicare, Medicaid and other commercial and private payers
Knowledge of payer rules and regulations
Understanding CPT/HCPCS and ICD ? 10 codes
