Outside Sales Representative Summary: As a strategic member of highly collaborative organization, the outside sales representative will Identify new business opportunities, manage assigned accounts and support sales growth activities of the organization.
Outside Sales Representative Responsibilities:
Pursue and win project and day to day business
Identify and scope out capital projects, expansions, retrofits, etc.
Update and communicate specific sales action plans to ensure success with all product lines
Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals within established territory
Proactively communicate opportunities across outside sales channel and with manufacturers
Develop technical knowledge to be resource for customer base
Specify/recommend products to meet customer applications
Become subject matter expert for major product lines
Outside Sales Representative Qualifications:
1 year experience in a related field preferred
Technical product background in industrial automation a plus
Mechanical engineering or related degree a plus
