Sales Manager Job Opening in Rural Hall, North carolina - Overview
Develop and implement sales tactics in support of the Strategies and Objectives established by the Company. The Sales Manager will be responsible for increasing the skill sets of the sales team through leadership and coaching. The Sales Manager will also develop relationships with the key accounts and will work closely with the sales management team in developing and implementing new sales strategies with the goal to maintain and expand the customer base and market share.
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and coach the sales team in pursuit of corporate and personal goals
Direct staff development and training opportunities that continuously grow the capabilities of the sales team
Review each salesperson against stated performance goals and assist in development of plan for improvement
Conduct quarterly performance reviews of the sales team and with key customers
Through continuous use of the CRM software manage the sales team activities to optimize their effectiveness in the field
Direct the day-to-day sales efforts to maintain current book of business and expand the market share in the individual sales territories
Prepare the annual sales budget for the company and the individual sales territories
Prepare an action plan to exceed the assigned budget
Plan, organize and participate in conferences and trade shows
Identify market trends
Up to 50% travel
Other duties as required
Qualifications
Requires Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration
A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant sales experience
Proven track record of management capability
Preferred sales experience in a related field
Strong interpersonal and negotiating skills
Requires integrity, intelligence and initiative
Must be results driven
