Pool & Spa Showroom Sales / Manager Job Opening in Asheville, North carolina - Experienced swimming pool & spa salesperson wanted. Showroom hours and in home sales of high-end pools and spas. Experience in the industry required. This job has high commission potential and store manager position open as well. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the industry required.
Showroom Manager
The basic function of the Showroom Manager is to produce and oversee the showroom floor including hot tub & pool accessories, store retail sales and customer service. This managerial position offers the opportunity to sell high-end products and earn a commission as well.
Responsibilities:
Product knowledge
Setting sales goals
Organize and facilitate appropriate meetings with employees when necessary.
Maintain a good professional relationship with company/retail vendors and/or manufacturer?s reps.
Responsible for upkeep of store and ensuring the store, conference rooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and counters are fully stocked and clean at all times.
Any other duties as set forth by the manager.
Qualifications:
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of managerial experience, preferably in the pool/spa industry.
Must maintain a professional appearance.
Good sales and people skills and the ability to communicate well with customers and employees.
Must possess knowledge of water chemistry and be able to train employees as well as guide and instruct customers in this area.
Must possess minimal knowledge of parts related to the pool/spa industry and eager to further this knowledge.
Must have management skills and leadership ability, and be able to adapt to rapidly changing situations while remaining calm and professional.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Must be able to delegate responsibility to subordinates while still maintaining overall responsibility and control.
Computer Skills: Word, PowerPoint, Excel experience is required.
Ability to work well independently and with others.
Must be able and willing to work retail hours including evenings and weekends.
