Field Sales Representative Job Opening in Riverside, California - Essential functions of the Sales Representative include, but are not limited to:
Build and grow productive long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers
Successful sales of products offered by the manufacturers we represent
Research history of existing accounts
Generate new prospects
Follow through on all sales leads
Honor all commitments
Attend meetings, sales events and trainings to keep abreast of the products
Manage the company?s CRM database within the assigned territory
Share competitive intelligence discovered regarding pricing, delivery schedules, product launches, and customer concerns
Field customer complaints and work towards resolution
To succeed at Cal Industrial Sales South as a Sales Representative, you?ll need:
Successful completion of pre-employment testing
Possess and demonstrate a high level of ethics, integrity, and honesty
Be self-motivated and driven to be successful
No prior sales experienced required, but 1-2 years of previous experience would be a plus
Electrical and/or mechanical technical aptitude is preferred
Strong desire and sincere willingness to learn products?the learning will never stop
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business preferred, but not required
Demonstrate excellent written, verbal, and electronic communication skills
Must have reliable transportation (monthly car allowance is provided)
Possess a valid driver's license with a Motor Vehicle Record that passes our insurance requirements
Accountable and reliable with deadlines
Competency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
Capable of lifting 50 lbs.
Possess a ?can do / will do? attitude
Strong skills managing B2B relationships
Must be able to read and speak the English language well enough to communicate, understand, and respond to questions, directions, traffic signs, signals, and training
